WatchI’ve been experimenting with After Effects recently and a friend has asked if I could create a credit sequence for her for use at the end of her short films. This is a potential idea. I used various effects including Radial Blur with Fractal Noise and CC Particle World.

Documentary overview
I am generally pleased with what I have achieved with my documentary. It has turned out very similar to the idea I had in my head though of course there are definitely things that on reflection I’d like to change/fix (the focus of some shots, lighting etc.) but hindsight is a wonderful thing. These mistakes I’ve made here will only mean I’ll develop from them next time.

WatchSo this is the webzine I’ve been working on for the past while! It’s called VISIT: EDINBURGH and has some articles written by me and my team member about certain aspects of the city. I wrote about the art and architecture of the city and I also designed and put together the webzine.

To conclude,
I feel this assignment for me has been a success. From starting with very little knowledge of Photoshop, I feel the practical sessions and practicing at home has given me enough know-how to create a reasonably realistic film still.
